It is our mission to promote quality Indian shows and movies, making Indian Movie Friend the leading global brand for the Indian entertainment.
It all started when Pratik Shelar was studying at Coventry University, UK back in 2013. Being passionate about Movies, he would go to the local cinema to watch Indian Movies every Friday. That’s when he realized that very few people were aware of the release of Indian movies in UK cinemas. There was not a single centralized platform available to get information about Indian movies releasing in the UK and hence Indian Movie Friend was born on 26th January 2016 as the first Ticketing Portal for Indian Movies and events, concerts in the UK.
As the business evolved we diversified into film financing and film production, created GoViddo which is a Film Investment Platform for New British Film Productions backed by OSCAR/BAFTA winning nominee talent.
Pratik ShelarGraduated with MBA Marketing from Coventry University and has 10 years of extensive experience in entertainment business in various areas such as film production, writing, acting, distribution, ticketing. The idea of the business is conceived by Pratik.
Swapnil KulkarniGraduated with MBA International Business from Coventry University and has experience in financial management at MSBTE Mumbai and Rohini Exports India. Responsible for financial, legal and operational areas of the business.
