  1. Shivaji Rao Gaekwad known by stage name Rajinikanth, is an Indian film actor.
  2. He is referred as a 'Superstar' of the industry for his stylised dialogue delivery and mannerisms.
  3. He pursued Diploma in Acting from Madras film Institute.
  4. He is regarded as a Matinee Idol in Tamil Nadu as he established himself as a lead actor in a number of commercially successful films in Tamil as well as Hindi.
  5. He is born in a Marathi family to Ramabai (mother), a housemaker and Ramoji Rao Gaekwad (father), a police constable.
  6. They moved to Bangalore when he was six.
  7. When he was nine, he lost his mother.
  8. He spent lot of time doing plays in his school.
